PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College’s Planning and Resource Management Office (DNSC-PRMO) facilitated a three-day workshop for the crafting of the strategic framework, development targets and investment planning, and policy legislative and research agenda, to complete the DNSC Strategic Plan 2025 – 2029.

The planning office organized the management team and office heads into three clusters based on their respective areas of concern. The Research, Extension, and Production cluster convened on May 10, 2024. The Administration and Finance cluster met on May 13 and the Instruction cluster followed on May 17.

During the opening briefing of the cluster meetings, Planning Officer III Joshua P. Elardo presented the proposed vision and mission, which were products of the first workshop. The participants then offered their suggestions to further improve the revised vision and mission.

Thorough strategic planning is essential for providing clear direction, optimizing resource use, measuring performance, and ensuring adaptability to future circumstances and trends. DNSC is committed to achieving its long-term goals and contributing to national frameworks.
