PANABO CITY — Davao del Norte State College promoted its academic offerings to prospective students and educators during the Tagum City Career Expo for School Year 2026–2027, held September 3–4, at Robinsons Mall Tagum.
Organized by the Public Employment Services and Capability Development Office (PESCDO) of the Local Government Unit of Tagum City, the career expo reached out to students, educators, institutions, and other stakeholders to help them explore career and educational opportunities.
As one of the event’s exhibitors, DNSC showcased its undergraduate program offerings to senior high school students who are exploring their options for higher education. The College also promoted its graduate school programs to teachers and other educators who visited the exhibit.
DNSC’s participation was a collaborative effort among the Career and Job Placement Unit, Records and Admission Division, Institute of Advanced Studies, and Public Information Unit. The event also featured career talks designed to equip participants with practical perspectives and skills for navigating their future careers. Among the featured topics were “Fail Forward: Turning Setbacks into Stepping Stones” and “Ready for What’s Next: Building a Resilient Career Mindset”.
Adding to the activities were competitions that encouraged participants to express their creativity and skills through a Digital Arts Competition and a Songwriting Competition.
