PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) participated for the first time in the Universitas Indonesia GreenMetric World University Rankings in its 15th Edition (2024). DNSC achieved a world rank of 1390 and a country rank of 60.
The ranking system evaluates efforts to maintain a green and sustainable campus across six criteria: Setting and Infrastructure, Energy and Climate Change, Waste, Water, Transportation, and Education and Research.
This edition saw participation from 1,477 schools across 95 countries. DNSC scored a total of 2385 points, ranking second among State Universities and Colleges and fourth among Higher Education Institutions in the region. The submitted reports highlighted DNSC’s initiatives in energy efficiency, including austerity measures and solar panel installations, marine conservation projects, and contributions to research.
