Davao del Norte State College is Hiring!  

PANABO CITY — Davao del Norte State College produced 17 newly licensed Professional Food Technologists in the August 2026 Professional Food Technologists Computer-Based Licensure Examination, recording an overall passing rate of 77.27%.

Of the 22 DNSC examinees, 17 passed the examination, including 12 of 16 first-time takers, or 75%, and five of six repeaters, or 83.33%. The College’s overall passing rate exceeded the 66.32% national passing rate, with 705 of the 1,063 examinees nationwide successfully passing the examination.

The newly licensed Professional Food Technologists are John Maverick Alagon, Irish Jullian Barbarona, Aime Bawisan, Charity Bucane, Rosita Cabusao, Diemcy Nouvy Capones, Maya Karla Celestial, Justin Carl Dandoy, Ladylin Durang, Leahlin Durang, Teodolo Etor, Jr., Charles Rance Fernandez, Jasper John Guinan, Lemuel Pescones, Sharmen Rotante, Kaye Monalie Suhay, and Kimberly Tantano.

Their achievement reflects their preparation, perseverance, and commitment to pursuing professional careers in food technology. The results also highlight the performance of DNSC examinees in a national licensure examination, with the College posting a passing rate more than 10 percentage points higher than the national figure.

The August 2026 Professional Food Technologists Computer-Based Licensure Examination was administered by the Board of Food Technology, composed of Hon. Anthony C. Sales, Chairman; and Hon. Remedios V. Baclig and Hon. Mary Grace R. Mandigma, members.
