Panabo City – On January 18, 2024, Davao del Norte State College’s Research, Extension, and Production unit (DNSC-REP) attended the Mindanao Call Conference, organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) at Limketkai Luxe Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

The conference highlighted the Grants-in-Aid (GIA) Program-funded projects and research priorities in Health, Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources, as well as Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology. There was also a discussion on the amendments in the DOST-GIA guidelines, COA requirements, and liquidation process of completed programs and projects.

The activity is in preparation for the CY 2026 Call for Proposals of the DOST and Council Grants-in-Aid (GIA) Program, which will be open from March to May 2024.

Dr. Paquito Relox, Dr. Jesebel Besas, Dr. Mariannie Rebortera, and Dr. Mark Ronald Manseguiao represented the college, gaining motivational and invaluable insights at the said conference.
