PANABO CITY – Representatives from the Unified Student Financial Assistance System for Tertiary Education (UniFAST) Central Office and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region XI visited Davao del Norte State College on August 12, 2024, for an on-site liquidation and checking of compliance with prescribed laws and guidelines on scholarship and grants.

They were received by College President Joy M. Sorrosa, Director for Finance Services Rhaymart Joe O. Gella, Director for Student Development and Services and Coordinator for Scholarship and Grants Josiedel C. Santamaria, College Accountant Marck Lester L. Navales, and other relevant personnel. The College expressed its openness to the liquidation exercise as part of its commitment to transparency and accountability.

Guests included UniFAST team members Rename Sanchez, Hannah Jill Caputol, and Christian Satorre, alongside CHED personnel Jamie Angelie Umar, Ched Morato, and Jeramel Atuel. The purpose of their visit was to ensure that the college’s management of scholarships and grants adheres to the highest standards of financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
