PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) sent representatives to the Workforce Dynamics Symposium organized by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Region XI, held on May 30-31, 2024, at the Grand Regal Hotel in Lanang, Davao City.

The participants were Dr. Leo D. Rayon Jr., Director for Administrative Services, Ms. Felicidad L. Forro, Head of the College Registrar’s Office, Mr. Rhaymart Joe O. Gella, Director for Finance Services, Atty. Lorevill S. Pinoon-Fontanilla, Head of the Legal Affairs, Engr. Denny Luz F. Fabia, Head of the Physical Facilities and Maintenance Unit, Mr. Joshua P. Elardo, Planning Officer III, Engr. Joenabel A. Ganiera, Head of the Engineering and Infrastructure Unit, Mr. Ian Jay T. Padios, Head of the Technology Support Services Unit, and Ms. Czarina Nicole Lara M. Lanes, Head of the Public Information Office.

Dr. Adrian M. Tamayo, Chief of Public Relations at the Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA), highlighted his advocacy for accessible workplaces for people with disabilities, focusing on inclusivity and diversity management. Dr. Victoria I. Ligan, Corporate Research and Development Director at Joji Ilagan International Schools, presented on Ethical Leadership.

On the second day, CSC Assistant Commissioner Ariel G. Ronquillo addressed common pitfalls in human resource actions for executives. The final session was delivered by DICT Regional Director Evamay C. Dela Rosa, who focused on Digital Leadership.

The participants are expected to apply the knowledge gained to enhance workforce management and support DNSC’s transition towards digital transformation.
