PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College joined forces with varsity members from Panabo City National High School (PCNHS), gaining multiple awards in the annual Araw ng Davao Athletics Festival on March 23-24, 2024 at the University of Mindanao (UM) Track Oval, Matina Campus, Davao City.

The Trackers nab a total of 9 medals; two golds, one silver, and six bronze medals in senior men’s and women’s categories.

Dareen Palisoc on the 110-meter Hurdle Men and Jairah Catayas on 100m Hurdle Women led the Trackers as they took home the hard-earned 2 golds.

Meanwhile, Jhance Karre Bautista clinched the silver in the 100m Dash Women, finishing at 12.919 seconds.

In 100m Hurdles Men, Justin Brix Gubal nailed the bronze medal, while Jamaica Licong grabbed third place in the Triple Long Jump Women.

Lastly, Justin Brix Gubal, Darren Palisoc, Jhustin Shon Taub, and R-Man Cabangbang took the bronze in the 4x100M Relay Men. The team was trained by Joshua Melchi Gubal.
