PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) welcomed a delegation from Davao Oriental State University (DOrSU) for a benchmarking activity held at the Gender and Development (GAD) Conference Room on July 19, 2024.

The delegation, led by Mr. Ariel C. Eballe, visited DNSC to learn about the college’s effective promotional strategies that attract students to enroll in the Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (BSFAS) program. “We conduct senior high school caravans to promote the programs offered by DNSC, along with the support from our Guidance Office,” stated BSFAS Program Chair Lord Martino S. Mondigo.

In addition to promotional strategies, the discussion also explored crucial aspects of the BSFAS program, including curriculum development, course outlines, academic facilities, and laboratory manuals. This comprehensive exchange of ideas aimed to provide DOrSU with insights and best practices to enhance their own fisheries program.
