The projects are subcomponents of the RAISE Program in Southern Mindanao: UMAGRA: Uplifting the Grassroot-based Mindanaoans in AANR Initiatives through Regional Approach. The assessment was conducted last February 9, 2023 at the DNSC Conference Room. Leading the preparations and receiving the guests were Research Director Mark Ronald Manseguiao (project leader), Vice President for Research, Extension, and Production Eliseo Huesca, Jr., Director for Extension Mariannie Rebortera, Director for Production Jesebel Besas, Budget Officer Rhaymart Joe Gella, and the rest of the project members and staff.

Strengthening the Intellectual Property Management in State Universities and Colleges is critical in securing ownership and rights to the SUCs’ knowledge and products, while its commercialization could create revenue streams that could be re-invested to business operations or improvement of services.
