The Mr. and Ms. Kasadyaan 2026 aims to promote confidence, professionalism, institutional pride, cultural appreciation, wit, and personality among the participating teams. The activity shall highlight the official identity of Davao del Norte State College through the presentation of the new DNSC Employees' Uniform, the official DNSC Filipiniana and Barong, and the candidates' ability to express themselves during the Final Question and Answer.
Each participating team shall field two (2) official representatives, composed of:
- One (1) Male Candidate for Mr. Kasadyaan
- One (1) Female Candidate for Ms. Kasadyaan
Candidates must be bona fide members or employees represented by their respective teams.
Each team shall officially endorse its candidates to the organizing committee on or before the prescribed deadline.
Substitution of candidates shall only be allowed before the official start of the competition and must be properly communicated to the organizing committee.
Candidates are expected to attend all rehearsals, orientations, and related activities scheduled by the organizers.
DNSC Employees' Uniform
Candidates shall showcase the new official DNSC Employees' Uniform.

Official DNSC Filipiniana and Barong
Candidates shall wear the official formal Filipino attire of Davao del Norte State College.
- Female Candidate: Official DNSC Filipiniana
- Male Candidate: Official DNSC Barong
- Presentation according to prescribed institutional design and specifications
- Emphasis on elegance, cultural appreciation, confidence, and formal bearing
Final Question and Answer
All official candidates shall proceed to the Final Question and Answer portion.
The order of appearance shall be determined through a draw of lots conducted before the competition.
The same order of appearance may be followed throughout all categories unless otherwise announced by the organizers.
Candidates shall be introduced according to their name and team.
Candidates shall follow the designated stage blocking, entrance, exit, and presentation sequence provided during rehearsals.
Candidates may perform appropriate poses, turns, and walks during the uniform and Filipiniana/Barong presentations.
Props that may interfere with the required attire, obstruct the stage, or provide an unfair advantage shall not be allowed unless approved by the organizing committee.
Candidates shall not alter the prescribed official uniforms in a manner that significantly changes their approved design.
Hair, make-up, footwear, and accessories shall complement the required attire and must remain appropriate for a formal institutional event.
Candidates shall observe proper decorum and professionalism throughout the competition.
The decision of the Board of Judges shall be final and irrevocable.
A. DNSC Employees' Uniform

Proper Wearing and Overall Appearance – 10%
Refers to neatness, grooming, appropriateness, and adherence to the prescribed DNSC uniform.

Refers to the candidate's ability to command attention and connect with the audience.
Poise and Personality – 5%
Refers to natural charm, grace, and overall presentation.
B. Official DNSC Filipiniana and Barong
Elegance and Overall Appearance – 10%
Refers to the candidate's overall look, grooming, and manner of carrying the prescribed attire.
Bearing, Poise, and Confidence – 10%
Refers to grace, composure, posture, and confidence.
Stage Presence and Projection – 5%
Refers to the ability to effectively present the attire before the judges and audience.
Appreciation of Filipino Identity – 5%
Refers to how well the candidate embodies the dignity, elegance, and cultural character represented by the Filipiniana or Barong.
C. Final Question and Answer
Substance and Relevance of Answer – 15%
Refers to the depth, appropriateness, and meaningfulness of the candidate's response.
Clarity and Organization of Ideas – 10%
Refers to the ability to communicate thoughts logically and understandably.
Confidence and Delivery – 10%
Refers to composure, voice projection, articulation, and command of the stage.
Wit, Personality, and Overall Impact – 5%
Refers to authenticity, presence of mind, and the lasting impression created by the response.

The candidate obtaining the highest total score in the Male Division shall be proclaimed Mr. Kasadyaan 2026. The candidate obtaining the highest total score in the Female Division shall be proclaimed Ms. Kasadyaan 2026. Male and female candidates shall be judged and ranked separately.

Special Awards
The candidate with the higher score in the Final Question and Answer shall rank higher.
If the tie remains, the candidate with the higher score in the Official DNSC Filipiniana and Barong Category shall prevail.
If a tie still exists, the Chairperson of the Board of Judges may initiate a deliberation or an additional tie-breaker question.
Candidates, coaches, and team members are expected to observe professionalism, respect, and sportsmanship at all times.
Any form of harassment, disruptive behavior, disrespect toward officials, judges, or fellow candidates shall not be tolerated.
Teams shall refrain from influencing, approaching, or communicating with members of the Board of Judges regarding the results of the competition.
Candidates shall respect the schedule, rehearsals, production requirements, and instructions of the organizing committee.
Any violation of the guidelines may be subject to appropriate sanctions as determined by the organizing committee.
