PANABO CITY – To promote mental wellness and holistic student development, the Office of the Student Development and Services, through the Guidance, Counselling, and Testing Services and Student Discipline Services, conducted “Design your Day: Crafting Habits for a Flourishing Self” at Davao del Norte State College Talaingod campus, on April 2, 2025.

The event targeted students of the Bachelor of Science in Agroforestry program, many of whom are members of indigenous communities. With a focus on mental health awareness, stress management, and values formation, the activity aimed to equip students with practical tools to enhance their daily lives and overall well-being. Interactive sessions allowed participants to reflect on their routines, identify stressors, and explore personal values that can guide them toward more meaningful and productive lifestyles.

The event marks a continued commitment by DNSC to prioritize student well-being, especially in geographically and culturally diverse campuses like Talaingod. As students left the event with renewed motivation and a personalized blueprint for self-growth, the impact of the activity is expected to ripple positively through both their academic and personal lives.
