PANABO CITY – Dr. Isaac Oomen, Global Program and Relations Head of Pacific Link College (PLC) in Canada, once again visited Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) for a collaborative meeting on March 26, 2024, at the DNSC Hostel Conference Room.

“We intend to assist students in not just graduating but to equip them with necessary knowledge and skills for success,” mentioned Dr. Oomen. PLC has been one of the emerging key collaborators of DNSC on globalization efforts.

The College was represented by faculty members from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, as well as personnel from the Internationalization Initiatives and External Affairs Office.

Included also in the discussion were the ease of securing travel documents to Canada compared with other countries and the friendly relationship between Canada and the Philippines. The meeting is a way of opening doors for academic enrichment through internationalization efforts.
