PANABO CITY – Student leaders and campus advisers from across the Philippines gathered for the PACSA National Midyear Convention held on April 2–4, 2025, at the Big 8 Corporate Hotel in Tagum City. Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) sent 16 students and three advisers to the event.

With the theme, “Leading with Vision, Uniting for Purpose, Promoting Inclusivity, Advocating for Diversity, and Developing Future-Ready Leaders” (LUPAD PACSAns), the convention highlighted the importance of visionary leadership, unity, and inclusivity.

Participants attended workshops, keynote sessions, and networking events aimed at developing leadership skills and civic responsibility. A major highlight was the Mr. & Ms. PACSL Fresh New Faces 2025 pageant, celebrating the confidence, advocacy, and leadership potential of the delegates.

Jhelliane C. Bolibol, representing DNSC and the Mindanao Core Group, was crowned Ms. PACSL Fresh New Faces 2025. She stood out during the Q&A segment and earned multiple awards, including Best in Filipiniana, Best in Jeans, and Best in Casual Wear. Her fellow Mindanao representatives secured the 1st and 2nd Runner-Up titles.

Hyle David Daduya of the Visayas Core Group won the Mr. PACSL Fresh New Faces 2025 title, also earning Best in Advocacy and Best in Barong Tagalog. He was followed by representatives from NCR (1st Runner-Up) and Luzon (2nd Runner-Up).

Dhoel James Recaña, one of the student leaders, also won first runner-up in PACSA’s photography contest. The convention ended with participants energized to lead with purpose, embrace diversity, and effect positive change in their campuses and communities.
