PANABO CITY – The City Human Resource Management Office of the Local Government Unit of Panabo met up with some members of Davao del Norte State College’s management team and the Institute of Advanced Studies to discuss a possible offering of the City Employees Scholarship Grant Program last May 15, 2023, at the DNSC Conference Room.

The program will help in the professional upgrading of the employees of LGU Panabo by promoting the pursuit of Master’s or Doctorate programs and by aiding in student expenses through a stipend.  Representing the LGU were Jan Marie Café, City Human Resource Management Officer, Lorena Garcia, CHRMO Learning and Development Unit officer, and Mylene Hermosora, City Accountant.

DNSC was represented by Dr. Joy Sorrosa, College President, Melissa Dalumay, Director for Executive Affairs, Dr. Nickel Jean Sastine, Dean of IADS, Rhaymart Joe Gella, Office-in-Charge of the Finance Services, and Maricielo Paula Funa, Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Student Development and Services.

DNSC looks forward to the partnership as it has helped various local government units over the years in strengthening their human resource through the Davao del Norte Learning Institute and other initiatives.
