PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College facilitated a turnover and acceptance ceremony of the four-storey academic building with a 30kW roof deck grid-tied solar power system. Aside from the 27 additional learning spaces for employees and students, the building is a step forward for the College’s commitment to sustainability in its projects and initiatives.

The construction started in 2019 and had undergone three phases. The turnover ceremony was held on February 16, 2023 and was attended by the College Management Team, DNSC employees, and representatives from the contractors. The first two construction phases were handled by Jargon Construction and Supply, while the third phase was completed by the Tagum Builders Contractors Corp.

During the ceremony, Vice President for Administration Reir Erlinda E. Cutad welcomed the guests, while College President Joy M. Sorrosa delivered the acceptance message. Representatives from the contractors were also given time to share short messages.
