Davao del Norte State College is Hiring!  

PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College, through its Job Placement Unit, connected graduates, alumni, and jobseekers with employment and livelihood opportunities during the Job and Livelihood Fair 2026, held on July 16, 2026, at the DNSC Gymnasium.

The annual fair registered 422 participants, 13 local companies, one overseas recruitment agency, and 13 national government agencies, providing a one-stop venue for recruitment, career services, and livelihood assistance. By the end of the activity, 111 applicants were hired on the spot.

In her opening message, Dr. Ma. Melanie N. Edig, Vice President for Academic Affairs, highlighted the College’s commitment to supporting students beyond graduation, “As an institution committed to producing competent, innovative, and socially responsible graduates, DNSC recognizes that our responsibility extends beyond the classroom. We strive to ensure that our graduates are equipped not only with academic knowledge but also with the competencies, values, and confidence needed to thrive in the ever-changing world of work.”

The Job and Livelihood Fair also served as a venue for participants to access employment facilitation services, government programs, and entrepreneurial support through the participation of key partner agencies, namely the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Panabo, PESO Davao del Norte, Local Government Unit of Panabo, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Social Security System (SSS), Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), PhilHealth–Local Health Insurance Office, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao del Norte Provincial Statistical Office, and the DNSC Alumni Association, Inc.

The participation of both public and private sector partners enabled applicants to explore local and overseas employment opportunities, process employment-related requirements, and learn about government programs designed to support career development and sustainable livelihoods.

The event also included livelihood demonstrations on chili sauce making, perfume making, and banana fries making.
