PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), through its Quality Assurance Office (QAO) facilitated the exit conference for the online accreditation survey visit of its Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) and Bachelor in Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) programs on May 28–30, 2025.

The session opened with remarks from Dr. Girley S. Gumanao, Vice-President for Academic Affairs, who welcomed faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders. She emphasized that the accreditation process offered valuable insights that will serve as a “roadmap for enhancing program quality and sustaining institutional excellence.” Dr. Gumanao also recognized the tireless efforts of all involved and encouraged participants to embrace the feedback as an opportunity for reflection and growth.

Dr. Donna D. Panganiban, who delivered the accreditor’s impression of the BPA program, commended the high level of professionalism, collaboration, and academic integrity demonstrated throughout the three-day evaluation.

For the BTLED program, Dr. Esmen M. Cabal expressed appreciation for the dedication and long hours invested by the local accreditation task forces. She also reminded them to take care of their well-being while awaiting the official results from AACCUP. College President, Dr. Joy M. Sorrosa, assured the accreditors that DNSC will address the recommendations for improvement.

In his closing message, Dr. Arnold M. Duping, Dean of the Institute of Teacher Education, emphasized that “quality is not something we achieve once, it is something that we live every day.” He affirmed that through SAIL, the College’s core values, DNSC continues to grow as a learning community that strives, adapts, innovates, and serves with love and integrity.
