PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) has achieved a historic milestone in the January 2025 Edition (2025.1.0 Beta) of the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, marking its highest placement since its establishment.

DNSC secured the top spot among State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in the Davao Region, underscoring its consistent growth and commitment to academic excellence and digital presence. It also ranked third among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Davao Region, 10th in Mindanao, 54th in the Philippines, and 6,643rd globally.

The Webometrics Ranking, the world’s largest academic ranking system, assesses institutions based on webometric and bibliometric indicators, evaluating their digital impact, research performance, and online visibility.

This remarkable achievement reflects DNSC’s unwavering dedication to academic quality, research innovation, and digital engagement. It also highlights the institution’s strategic initiatives in strengthening its online platforms, increasing research output, and expanding its digital footprint to advance its mission of providing accessible and high-quality education.

Sorrosa, during her State of the College Address on February 14, 2025.

DNSC has entered the Top 100 for the first time, a leap from its previous ranking of 144th in the Philippines.
