PANABO CITY — Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) called in selected officials and personnel for an Orientation on the PRIME-HRM Level III Assessment and Award Processes on March 23, 2026, at the GAD Conference Room.
The activity was organized by the college’s Human Resource Management Division and gathered participants from the Institutional Planning and Project Development Division, Quality Assurance Division, and Information and Communication Technology Services Division. The orientation was also attended by College President Joy M. Sorrosa and Vice President for Administration and Finance Reir Erlinda E. Cutad.
In her opening message, Pres. Sorrosa emphasized the importance of grounding institutional systems in the college’s principles, “I encourage everyone to remain grounded in our core values. Let these values guide our decisions, shape our systems, and reflect how we serve one another and the public. PRIME-HRM will only be truly meaningful if it is consistently anchored in integrity, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to service excellence.”
Serving as resource speaker was Reilee Jill Renee M. Villanueva, Senior Human Resource Specialist from the Civil Service Commission Field Office Davao del Norte. HR Villanueva discussed the requirements for PRIME-HRM Level III accreditation, highlighting its focus on analytics-driven human resource systems that support institutional decision-making.

She also explained the distinctions between Level II and Level III assessment standards and underscored the importance of integrated systems such as the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) in streamlining and managing HR processes across the institution.
VPAF Cutad concluded the activity by encouraging participants to view the orientation as an opportunity to strengthen their collective commitment to institutional improvement, “Let the orientation serve not as an added burden but as a renewed source of inspiration and direction. May it empower each one of us with knowledge, confidence, and collective resolve to move forward with purpose. As we close, let us seal our commitment with these words: kayang kaya for the love of DNSC.”
