PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College, in coordination with Brgy. New Visayas, City Government of Panabo, Public Employment Service Office (PESO), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), hosted the Trabaho, Negosyo, Kabuhayan (TNK) 2024 on July 12.

The job fair at the college gymnasium saw participation from thirteen local companies and two overseas firms. Thirteen job seekers were hired on the spot. Simultaneously, a business fair took place in the DNSC Audio-Visual Room, where Edsel D. Siasol, Senior Business Counselor of the DTI, delivered a talk on starting a business. This session was followed by livelihood training opportunities in eyelash extension, perfume-making, nail art, and liquid laundry detergent mixing.

Various public agencies also offered their services during the event. The Social Security System (SSS) and PAG-IBIG Fund assisted with membership inquiries, while the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) set up a table for passport processing. The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) conducted a promotional drive for their programs and services. Additionally, BLGU New Visayas accepted clients for the issuance of Barangay Clearance and Cedula.
