PANABO CITY – The Institute of Computing (IC) of Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) conducted the Advanced Seminar Series for Academic Year 2025–2026, a two-part event designed to enrich the professional and technical competencies of fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students.
The first session, held virtually via Microsoft Teams on October 8, 2025, featured Ms. Trang Thu Trang, who shared her inspiring insights in a talk titled “Journey from Science Practitioner to Information Technology Specialist”. Drawing from her own experiences, Ms. Trang discussed how interdisciplinary knowledge and adaptive learning play vital roles in transitioning between scientific and technological fields, encouraging students to explore innovative pathways in their IT careers.
The second session took place on November 5, 2025, at the DNSC Gymnasium, where Mr. Pravin Bajaj led an engaging discussion on “The Power of Color in Graphic Design: Theory, Psychology, and Practice”. His lecture explored the psychological and aesthetic impacts of color in digital design, providing students with a deeper understanding of how visual communication influences user experience and brand identity.
