PANABO CITY – The Davao del Norte State College – Learning and Information Resource Center (DNSC-LIRC) has been honored with the Outstanding Library Award by the Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools Library Network (MASTSLiNet). This recognition highlights DNSC-LIRC’s contributions and active participation in the network, showcasing its commitment to promoting academic excellence through innovative library services, resource development, and collaborative activities within the educational community.
Additionally, two individuals received Special Citation Awards. Ms. Paulina T. Baba, Head of Library Services, was celebrated for her visionary leadership, dedication to service, and innovative enhancements to library operations. Mr. Rodrigo Jr. B. Sumuob, a former faculty-head librarian of North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU), Bislig Campus, and now a faculty member of the Institute of Computing at DNSC, was also honored for his contributions and involvement in the network.
These awards were presented on October 25, 2024, via Zoom, during the MASTSLiNet 8th General Assembly and the network’s decade of celebration. These achievements underscore DNS
