PANABO CITY – The Planning and Resource Management Office (PRMO) of Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) facilitated the third workshop for crafting the Strategic Plan 2025-2029 on October 3, 2024, at the DNSC Gender and Development (GAD) Conference Room.

Dr. Girley S. Gumanao, representing College President Joy M. Sorrosa, highlighted in her opening remarks, “This strategic planning today provides a direction in making decisions on how we allocate resources to attain our strategic goals. We have to adapt and design solutions for the ever-changing world.”

Planning Officer III Joshua P. Elardo presented the workshop’s rationale and recapped the plan’s progress. Dr. Eliseo F. Huesca Jr., Vice President for Research, Extension, and Production, and DNSC focal for Futures Thinking and Strategic Foresight, emphasized the importance of integrating these concepts into DNSC’s operations.

Participants engaged in various activities, developing strategies, programs, activities, and projects aligned with the main strategic outcomes. In her closing remarks, Dr. Reir Erlinda E. Cutad, Vice President for Administration and Finance, stated, “In line with our direction, we will ensure that our strategic plan is future-proof and resilient against various challenges… To make our journey memorable for the next five years, let us continually embrace room for improvement, love, and forgiveness.”
