Davao del Norte State College is Hiring!

PANABO CITY — Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) has been shortlisted for the Gender and Development Transformation and Institutionalization through Mainstreaming of Programs, Agenda, Linkages & Advocacies (GADtimpala) Awards for State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), recognizing the institution’s efforts in advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment.

The shortlisting of DNSC for the award was confirmed by Sadie D. Law-ay, head of the college’s Gender and Development (GAD) Unit.

The GADtimpala Awards were institutionalized pursuant to Republic Act No. 9710, which mandates the establishment of an incentives and awards system to recognize entities that demonstrate remarkable initiatives in upholding and promoting the rights of women.

The award recognizes outstanding national government agencies and government instrumentalities that have shown notable progress in implementing gender mainstreaming programs, activities, and projects within their institutions.

The recognition is spearheaded by the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), the national machinery for advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment, in partnership with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). As part of the evaluation process, an on-site validation visit will be conducted from April 14 to 17, 2026.
