
PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College’s General Administrative Support and Services Organization (GASSO) held its Executive Board election on January 9, with 103 out of 146 members casting their votes through secret balloting.
Following the election, the eleven newly elected Executive Board members convened on January 15 to elect the organization’s officers. Through another round of secret balloting, they selected the officials who will serve from the President down to the members of the Board of Directors, ensuring a transparent and democratic process.
The newly elected officers were formally presented by Commission on Elections Chair Marichelle C. Maglinao and took their oath of office on February 9, 2026, administered by College President Joy M. Sorrosa.
Serving for the term February 2026 to April 2030 are Secretary General Jomarie Dave B. Java, President Joena Marie A. Martinez, Vice President Joenabel A. Ganiera, Secretary Ellen Jean A. Geolagon, Treasurer Maxilianne Marie M. Camino, Auditor Roselyn M. Aviso, and Public Information Officer Amalia M. Caballero.
Completing the Executive Board are Board of Directors members Mariquit C. Alano, Gemma G. Cervantes, Raquel J. Edjec, and Maricielo Paula E. Funa. With their formal induction, the new set of officers is poised to lead GASSO in promoting unity, advancing members’ welfare, and supporting the institution’s goals in the years ahead.
