PANABO CITY — The Philippine-American Educational Foundation (PAEF), also known as the Fulbright Commission in the Philippines, conducted an in-person scholarship information session at Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) on May 21, 2026, at the Gender and Development Conference Hall.

The activity introduced faculty members and key officials to the various scholarship opportunities available under the Fulbright Program, an international educational and cultural exchange initiative that supports graduate studies, research, and teaching engagements in the United States.

Representatives from PAEF presented the different Fulbright scholarship programs open to Filipino students, young professionals, teachers, researchers, and higher education personnel. The session also covered application requirements, eligibility criteria, and the benefits of participating in the program.

College President Joy M. Sorrosa expressed her excitement toward the program, “I’m very much supportive of faculty members who would like to pursue their advanced studies outside the Philippines. This will definitely enhance the profile of Davao del Norte State College.”
