PANABO CITY – The Internal Quality Audit (DNSC-IQA) team at Davao del Norte State College geared up for the forthcoming ISO 9001:2015 audits through a training held on July 23, 2024, at the Gender and Development (GAD) Conference Room.

The training session aimed to equip both seasoned and newly recruited members with a thorough understanding of ISO requirements, bolster their audit capabilities, assess the institution’s alignment with international standards, and draft detailed audit reports.

Welcoming five new additions to the team—Rolando P. Bansag Jr., JC Jun C. Gallera, Nolie Jr. C. Guadalquiver, Arcelyn B. Llevado, and Denmark A. Sampani—Dr. Ma. Melanie N. Edig, Director for Quality Assurance, stressed in her opening address, “Our commitment to maintaining ISO Certification underscores our pursuit of excellence. Conducting regular internal quality audits is one of the key requirements in sustaining this achievement.”

The training was led by Prof. Sevetrim B. Torrejos, a former IQA Lead Auditor, who shared valuable insights. Ms. Joena Marie M. Agod, the newly appointed IQA Team Lead, also presented the upcoming audit assignments.
