PANABO CITY – The Quality Assurance Office of Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) spearheaded an ISO Awareness, Process Formulation, and Risk and Opportunity Management Training for newly designated office heads and offices without ISO processes. The training, held on June 14, 2024, at the DNSC Gender and Development (GAD) building, aimed to ensure that their service delivery standards align with ISO 9001:2015.

Dr. Melanie N. Edig, Director for Quality Assurance, led the ISO QMS Awareness and Process Formulation Workshop. She emphasized the importance of the ISO Quality Management System (QMS) in organizations, outlining its standards, principles, and requirements.

Her presentation was followed by the Workshop on Risk and Opportunity Management, facilitated by Ms. Joena Marie A. Martinez, Quality Assurance Officer III. “This component of our training will empower us to identify potential challenges before they arise and develop strategies to mitigate them. Equally important is the ability to recognize and seize opportunities that can propel us forward,” Ms. Martinez explained.
