Davao del Norte State College is Hiring!

PANABO CITY – The Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) welcomed its new Private Sector Representative, Hon. Juris D. Perez, during the institution’s 2nd Quarter Regular Board of Trustees (BOT) Meeting held virtually on August 20, 2025.

The oath-taking was presided over by Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, Chair of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and concurrent Chair of the DNSC Board of Trustees.

As Private Sector Representative, Hon. Perez will play a vital role in ensuring that the college’s policies, programs, and directions remain responsive to industry needs and community development. The inclusion of a private sector perspective in the BOT strengthens the institution’s capacity to bridge the gap between higher education and the labor market, fostering innovation, employability, and inclusive growth.

The DNSC Board of Trustees, as the highest policy-making body of the institution, is composed of representatives from government, academe, and the private sector. Each member contributes to advancing the college’s mandate of delivering quality, accessible, and relevant education for the people of Davao del Norte and beyond.

With Hon. Perez officially joining the Board, DNSC is set to build stronger partnerships with the private sector to better align its academic and research initiatives with the evolving demands of society and the economy.
