PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) President Joy M. Sorrosa, accompanied by Board Secretary Jeremy B. Barnido, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of Commissioner Desiderio R. Apag III on November 26, 2025.
The visit provided an opportunity to familiarize Commissioner Apag with DNSC’s institutional profile, current concerns, and the composition of its governing board. Discussions also included an orientation on the various systems implemented by the Commission for streamlined governance and administrative transactions.
Among the key topics covered were the State Universities and Colleges (SUC) dashboard, procedures for submitting requests for action via referendum, the process for obtaining foreign travel authority for presidents, and the uploading of materials to the e-agenda folder. These systems aim to enhance transparency, efficiency, and compliance across higher education institutions.
For the first time, Chair Apag is set to preside over DNSC’s 3rd and 4th Quarter BOT meetings this December.
