PANABO CITY – In celebration of the 36th National Statistics Month (NSM), Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) was recognized by the Philippine Statistics Authority and the Provincial Statistics Office of Davao del Norte as the Most Outstanding Stakeholder in the academe category. The awarding took place during the NSM Closing Ceremony on October 29, 2025, PM at the Grand Palm Villas & Hotel, Tagum City.
The recognition highlights DNSC’s participation and support in promoting statistical awareness, research, and education in the province. In addition to the institutional recognition, Ms. April Mae E. Rizon, a first-year Bachelor of Public Administration student of DNSC, was awarded 2nd place in the 29th Philippine Statistics Quiz provincial elimination.
The provincial competition was held on October 21, 2025, at the PSA Provincial Statistical Office, Davao del Norte. With this achievement, Rizon will represent the province in the Regional Championship of the Philippine Statistics Quiz. The DNSC team that participated in the provincial quiz also included Nel Christian T. Sulamin (BSFAS) and Hannah C. Galendez (BSED-Math), with Hannah Mae C. Pamilgan serving as their coach.
