Scholarship and Grants Unit
The Scholarship and Grants Unit is designed to promote and enhance access to quality higher education by providing financial aid to alleviate the economic burden on students and their immediate families. Scholarships and grants are awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, exemplary performance in sports, arts, and socio-cultural activities, as well as those coming from underprivileged backgrounds.

- Student scholarships and financial assistance grants are available in various forms and accessible modalities, supported by appropriate screening, monitoring procedures, and clearly defined guidelines for both applicants and recipients.
- A system is established to provide access to scholarships and financial assistance grants, ensuring that information on availability, qualification requirements, and application procedures is widely disseminated across various platforms.
- Institutionalized policies and guidelines are implemented to support students from vulnerable and marginalized sectors.
Types of Scholarships and Grants
Internally Funded Scholarship Grants

Academic Scholarship
Awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and consistent excellence in their coursework. -
Grant-In-Aid (GIA)
- Category A: For students with exceptional skills in music, dance, arts, and sports.
- Category B: For elected officers of the Student Supreme Council (SSC) and members of the Student Publication Editorial Board.

Category C: Student Assistants (SA)
Awarded to students from low-income families who render institutional support services.
Externally Funded Scholarships and Grants
These scholarship and financial grant programs are offered by sponsoring agencies, organizations, or individuals. Benefits vary depending on the provisions of the funding source.
