PANABO CITY – The Bachelor of Science in Food Technology program at Davao del Norte State College produced six new Licensed Food Technologists following the release of the August 2024 results.

The passers are Merl Dorothy C. Cantoja, Jepop Caballes, Buchard C. Cutin, Christine Mae T. Gulmatico, Diandrakylle R. Parcon, and Rey S. Romano. DNSC achieved a 17.65% passing rate for first-time takers, with three out of seventeen passing. For repeaters, DNSC boasted a 100% passing rate, with all three candidates succeeding.

The examination covered various topics, including physical, chemical, biological, and microbiological principles, food laws and regulations, concepts of food science and technology, food safety, food analysis, food research and nutrition, food processing, preservation, food engineering, and food quality assurance and sensory evaluation. This marks the second batch of passers for DNSC.
