Davao del Norte State College is Hiring!

PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) gathered generations of graduates during the Grand Alumni Homecoming 2025, held on December 27, 2025, at the DNSC campus. The activity was attended by alumni, invited guests, and the DNSC administration, led by College President Joy M. Sorrosa.

The program opened with the Stride of Hope: Color Run for Balay Alumni at the DNSC Sports Complex. The activity served as a wellness-oriented event and a platform to promote unity and service among alumni and stakeholders.

In his welcome message, Dr. Glenne B. Lagura, President of the DNSC Alumni Association, Inc. (DNSCAAI), highlighted the broader purpose of the activity.

“Today is more than a fun run. It is a celebration of wellness, unity, and service. Every color thrown and every step taken symbolizes hope: hope for stronger community ties, better opportunities, and the meaningful impact we can create when we come together,” he said.

The color run was followed by the groundbreaking ceremony for the Balay Alumni, a planned facility intended to serve as a hub for alumni activities. Dr. Lagura described the project as a space “where alumni are welcomed, friendships are renewed, and support for the institution will continue to grow.”

The homecoming concluded with a Gala Night, which featured the presentation of the Balay Alumni plans, recognition of honorees in the Hall of Fame, and the awarding of the 40 Outstanding Alumni Under 40. Batch meet-and-greet sessions, fellowship activities, and a raffle draw were also held.

College President Joy M. Sorrosa expressed appreciation for the continued engagement of DNSC alumni, citing their contribution to advancing the College’s mission and sustaining its institutional legacy.
