i. Project Selection: For this year, the identified group or community shall be the Davao del Norte Kapisanan ng May Kapansanan (DNK May K). The chosen project should align with their needs, ethical considerations, and demonstrate a positive impact on the selected group. The teams are allowed to explore or do their own investigation on the best project they can offer to the selected community.
ii. Budget: Each team with a budget of PHP30,000 for the chosen group or community is a practical and tangible way to support the initiative. This budget allocation allows teams to plan and execute their engagement activities effectively, ensuring that they can address the specific needs of the chosen community meaningfully.
iii. Purpose Definition: Each team should clearly define the purpose and goals of their engagement. What assistance or value will they provide to the chosen group/community? The purpose should be achievable within a reasonable time frame and with available resources.
iv. Planning and Implementation: Teams must create a detailed plan outlining their steps to achieve their purpose. The plan should include a timeline, roles and responsibilities within the team, and a budget estimate if applicable.
v. Ethical Considerations: Teams should prioritize the well-being, dignity, and rights of the target group/community. Avoid any actions that might exploit, harm, or disrespect the group/community.
vi. Collaboration: Collaboration with the target group/community is crucial. Involve them in decision-making processes and respect their input. Seek guidance from relevant experts or stakeholders if necessary.
vii. Documentation: Teams should maintain thorough documentation throughout the project, including progress, challenges, and outcomes. This documentation will be helpful for assessment and sharing experiences.
viii. Evaluation and Reflection: At the end of the project, teams should evaluate the outcomes against the defined purpose and goals. Reflect on the overall experience, lessons learned, and the impact on the team and the assisted group/community.
ix. Sharing and Celebration: Teams should share their experiences and outcomes with the DNSC community through presentations, reports, or other suitable means during the culmination program.
x. Award: The efforts of the winning team will receive a plaque of recognition during the culmination of the Civil Service Anniversary Celebration, which adds a motivational element to the initiative. Such recognition not only acknowledges the dedication and hard work of the team but also serves as an inspiration for others to engage in community service and make a positive impact.

Teams will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
