
PANABO CITY — Selected non-teaching personnel of Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) participated in a one-day seminar dubbed as, “Empowering Education: 2025 Trends in Library Services, Student Records, and Holistic Student Support”, on October 2, 2025.
The seminar included a lineup of topics designed to address key areas in administrative efficiency, policy compliance, and digital innovation. These included the United College Admission System and Presentation of the Proposed Admission Policy for 2026–2027 and Thereafter, The Use of Constructive Affixture of Documentary Stamps for Certificates Issued by Government Agencies and Instrumentalities, The First Time Jobseekers Assistance Act (Republic Act 11261), Legal Bases in Carrying Out Academic Decisions in the Registrar’s Office, Streamlining Work Efficiency: Accelerating Digital Growth through AI Tools and Extensions, 2025 Trends in Library Services, Student Records, and Student Support, Library Current Trends and Services, and Beyond Books and Records: Non-Teaching Staff as Key Partners in Student Success.
The discussions highlighted the importance of digital transformation, adherence to government standards, and the evolving role of non-teaching employees in fostering a holistic student experience. By integrating emerging trends and technologies into their respective functions, DNSC’s non-teaching staff are expected to play a more dynamic role in ensuring efficient and student-centered services.
Representing Human Resource Management Officer Raquel J. Edjec, Joan Beverly G. Navarrete, expressed her gratitude to the participants for their dedication despite their demanding schedules, “Together we can prepare our students for a future of unlimited possibilities. And before we can prepare them, of course, we have to be prepared ourselves.”
