PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College, through the System Development Team of the Technology Support Services Unit, conducted a two-day Hybrid User Orientation for its core College Information Systems on January 14-15, 2026.

The orientation, held both in-person at the Institute of Computer laboratories and virtually via Microsoft Teams, prioritized newly hired teaching and non-teaching employees. This initiative aimed to move beyond basic functionality, seeking instead to empower every user to achieve maximum efficiency and ease of use in their daily workflows.

Participants were introduced to the college’s digital platforms, including the Learning Management System (LMS), Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Supply Information System (SIS), and the Fund and Requisition Information System (FRIS). A key highlight of the event was the introduction of two new centralizing platforms: the DNSC Information System Gateway and the Record Management System (RMS), designed to streamline access and institutional documentation

The training reflects DNSC’s proactive approach in fostering a digitally competent workforce, enhancing administrative efficiency, and ultimately supporting its mission of delivering high-quality education and services.
