PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), through the collaborative efforts of its Human Resource Management Office, Records Management Unit, and Technology Support and Services Unit, conducted a forward-looking seminar, “Mastering Modern Records and Office Management for Client-Centric Excellence in 2025”. The event was held on May 14, 2025, at the Gender and Development Conference Room.

The seminar aimed to prepare non-teaching personnel for the demands of a digital and service-oriented work environment. HRMO Head Raquel J. Edjec emphasized this in her opening message, “This seminar is designed to upskill you all with vital competencies in various digital tools. These tools and platforms enhance collaboration, improve productivity, and support knowledge management in a fast-paced, yet service-oriented work environment.”

Participants were trained to use key digital tools including Google Drive for file sharing and collaboration, Trello for project tracking and task management, Google Calendar for scheduling, Canva for report creation, and Notion for documentation and organization. The sessions were facilitated by TSSU Head Ian Jay T. Padios.

In her closing remarks, Records Unit Head Amalia M. Caballero highlighted the seminar’s broader impact, “This initiative, along with today’s activity, will significantly enhance the quality, productivity, and efficiency of our services. It strongly aligns with our core values of innovativeness and stewardship, empowering all of us to foster a more organized, client-centric, and future-ready workplace.”
