PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) welcomed new students for the second semester of Academic Year 2025-2026 through the PASINATI: New Students’ Orientation program on January 28, 2026. It was organized by the Guidance, Counseling, and Testing Unit of the Student Development and Services Division, in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and all academic institutes.

Held at the SDSD Conference Room, the orientation was attended by 17 new students, a typical cohort size for the mid-year intake, as the majority of new students enroll at the start of the first semester. The program was designed to facilitate a smooth transition for the newcomers by providing information about college life and academic protocols.

The orientation covered a line-up of topics crucial for student integration. Officials introduced the various support services available on campus, including guidance and counseling, scholarship and grant opportunities, varsity and artistic programs, journalism trainings, and more.

A key focus of the session was to acquaint students with the current academic delivery methods, detailing the structure of limited face-to-face classes and explaining the overall modality of learning and instruction at DNSC.
