PANABO CITY – The Commission on Higher Education Region XI gathered higher education institutions in the region to disseminate its achievements from 2019 to 2022 and future directions for 2023 to 2028. The activity was held at the Grand Menseng Hotel, Davao City, on August 29, 2023.

CHED RO XI, spearheaded by Regional Director Maricar R. Casquejo, presented plaques of recognition to Davao del Norte State College’s student developers for playing essential roles in the office’s quest for digitization and automation. The following systems were outputs of DNSC students: Inventory Management System with Stock Forecasting using Linear Regression for CHED RO XI, Trackagamitan: A Web-based Tracking System of Issued Properties with Acquisition Cost Forecasting for CHED RO XI, Accsyon: Accounting and Cashiering Information Management System with Expenses Forecasting for CHED RO XI, and Procurement Management System with Data Visualization for CHED RO XI.

The regional office also featured the 1st Davao Region ASEAN Photo Wall Exhibit in time for the ASEAN month celebration during the event. Ten private and public tertiary schools, including DNSC, curated a photo wall, showcasing the beauty of people, richness of history, and vibrance of culture of ASEAN nations.
