About the Journal

The Mindanao Review: A STEAM Education and Research Journal is a Mindanao-based scholarly outlet that showcases theoretical, technical, and empirical works pertaining to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. It is particularly interested in submissions that broadly situate at the nexus of ridge-to-reef research explorations. 

The journal welcomes scholarly works that delve into a diverse range of topics such as biodiversity protection and conservation, fisheries and aquatic sciences, GIS, artificial intelligence and machine learning, information and data sciences, food technology and sciences, science teaching and learning, natural resource planning, and sustainability science, among others. 

The Mindanao Review prides itself in being an essential platform for early-career academics and scholars in and around Mindanao, while also fostering connections between the region and the rest of the world. Its overarching goal is to elevate the voices and insights of emerging scholars in STEAM disciplines, ultimately contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge and innovation.
