PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College’s Master of Arts in Educational Management (MAEM) and Doctor of Philosophy in Education Management (PhDEM) programs underwent the Level III Phase 2 Survey Visit by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) from May 22 to 24, 2025, via Zoom and the DNSC AKRED system.

During the exit conference, Dr. Marinel P. Dayawon, AACCUP coordinator and one of the evaluators for the MAEM program, mentioned that the programs under evaluation exemplified quality and innovation. She highlighted several commendable strengths of the programs, such as the simulated practical examination that will be embedded in the curriculum, securing of Certificate of Program Compliance, qualified and dedicated faculty members that have active research involvement, and incorporation of ways to ensure that future educational managers and administrators are ready to meet modern challenges.

The rest of the accreditation survey team included Dr. Divinagracia M. De Guzman for MAEM, Dr. Elizabeth H. Alonzo and Dr. Roselle M. Beltran for PhDEM, and Dr. Liza M. Tamargo for the library services. One of the recommendations of the accreditors was additional financial support for acquiring books to enrich the programs.

On behalf of DNSC, College President Joy M. Sorrosa delivered a message of gratitude and commitment, “We are committed to delivering the highest quality education, advanced research opportunities, and comprehensive support to our students throughout their academic journey in advanced studies.”
