PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) welcomed representatives from the Local Government Unit of Davao de Oro for a benchmarking activity on April 3, 2024, held at the DNSC Gender and Development (GAD) Conference Room.

“I firmly believe that a benchmarking activity is an opportunity where we can all learn from each other’s good practices,” Vice President of Administration and Finance, Dr. Reir Erlinda E. Cutad, stated as she delivered the welcome message to the guests.

The guests were received by the Technology Support System Unit (TSSU) of DNSC led by TSSU Head, Mr. Ian Jay Padios.

The College has established TSSU as its primary technical support arm and has also been a key office in implementing SMART campus initiatives. TSSU oversees the College’s database infrastructure while efficiently administering the campus-wide networking to ensure a seamless internet connection for all users.

Ms. Joyzel R. Ordi, DDO LGU Personnel, expressed her impression of the visit, “Ang among tumong jud diria is how to integrate digital signatures… kung unsa man amoang maachieve, kabahin ani ang Davao del Norte State College (Our main purpose in visiting is to gain insights into the integration of digital signatures, an area where Davao del Norte State College has been helpful).”

DNSC and DDO LGU first entered into a partnership in 2015 to promote innovation in government processes and operations.
