PANABO CITY – To strengthen the communication lines and protocols of Davao del Norte State College (DSNC), the Office of the Director for Executive Affairs, Office of the Head for College Secretarial Affairs, and Records Management Office, organized a Communication Protocols Training and Workshop on November 8, 2023, at the GAD Conference Room.

The activity highlighted appropriate communication practices and addressed crucial questions on existing processes. “It is very important to have a better understanding of the processes to enhance the efficiency of our operations, in general,” said DNSC President Joy M. Sorrosa. She also emphasized the necessity for leaders to possess good communication skills.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ma. Melanie N. Edig, Director for Quality Assurance, underscored the impact of effective communication on job satisfaction, productivity, and professional confidence. The seminar covered Intra- and Inter-Office Communication Protocols, Communication Protocols for Board of Trustees-related Communications, and Records Management Communication Protocols.

The seminar served as a proactive step towards fostering a communicative environment within the College, aligning with the belief that enhanced communication leads to increased efficiency and overall organizational excellence.
