PANABO CITY – A delegation from Davao de Oro State College (DDOSC) visited Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) for a benchmarking activity on November 14, 2023. The focus of their visit was to gain insights into the operations of the host college, specifically on Technology Support Services (TSSU), Internationalization Initiatives and External Affairs (IIEAO), Instructional Materials (IMC), National Service Training Program (NSTP), and Public Information (PIO).

College President Joy M. Sorrosa showed her support and personally welcomed the guests to the campus. Director for Executive Affairs Melissa G. Dalumay facilitated the sharing of best practices. DNSC was represented by Dr. Ariel O. Gamao and Mr. Ian Jay T. Padios from TSSU, Mr. Mer Jun Q. Cañas and Ms. Frincess Jade C. Cajano from IIEAO, Mr. Danvier Jan C. Cruz from NSTP Office, Ms. Nancy R. Raiz from the IM Committee, and Ms. Czarina Nicole Lara M. Lanes from the Information Unit.

Dr. Sorrosa mentioned that the processes in the College are a work in progress, but DNSC is very much willing to assist other academic institutions to foster collaboration and knowledge dissemination.
