PANABO CITY – The fifth installation of the MasterPEACE project, an initiative organized by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity, convened 70 young leaders all over the Philippines to enrich their perspectives on peace and human security.


Five students from Davao del Norte State College were able to pass the selection process and attend a virtual briefing last September 17 and 24, 2022, and the two-day physical workshop on September 27 – 28, 2022 at the Acacia Hotel, Davao City. Mhie Dainnie Chulani (Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management student), Laura Pepito and Alleah Petras (Bachelor of Science in Social Work), and Client John Bustria and Dave Gumantason (Bachelor of Arts in Communication) were the College’s official delegates.


The workshop also included the crafting and implementation of peacebuilding processes and projects in the community level. It highlighted the roles of the youth as important players in sustaining peace and progress in their regions.
