PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College, through its Human Resource Management Office, in collaboration with the Gender and Development Committee, Academic Unit, Quality Assurance Office, and Technology Support Services Unit, conducted the second semester orientation on Gender-fair Education, Academic and Non-academic Policies, and ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System to the newly hired faculty and staff.

The activity was held at the DNSC Audio-visual Room on November 7 – 9, 2023. The orientation was given to allow employees to acclimate to the existing processes of the college and get to know its culture. The Gender Fair Education part of the activity is in adherence to the Commission on Higher Education Memorandum No. 096, series of 2019, which reiterated the importance of integrating Basic Gender and Development (GAD) and anti-sexual harassment notes during the orientation of students and employees.

Upon completion of the activity, participants are expected to apply the acquired principles and policies effectively in their roles, fostering an environment that is gender-fair, policy-compliant, and quality-focused.
