PANABO CITY – Davao del Norte State College’s newest program offering, the Master in Information Technology (MIT), was granted the Certificate of Program Compliance by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The CHED Regional Office XI forwarded the certification on April 17, 2023.

The MIT program is under the Institute of Advanced Studies and looks to equip students with advanced academic and professional knowledge, skills, competencies, and research related to Information Technology. The graduates specialize in systems development, such as e-commerce solutions, e-learning, multimedia solutions, information management modeling, designing, implementing, configuring, and administering databases.

The program started accepting enrollees in the academic year 2022 – 2023. The program proponents virtually met with the Commission on Higher Education’s Technical Committee for Information Technology to initially discuss the issuance of COPC last March 4, 2022.
