PANABO CITY – Six members of Davao del Norte State College’s Supreme Student Council (SSC) traveled to Boracay island for the Philippine Association of Campus Student Advisers (PACSA), Inc. Midyear National Convention on November 19 – 21, 2023. PACSA is an organization of campus advisers around the Philippines.
DNSC was represented by Allen Monque, SSC president, Charles Rance Fernandez, SSC vice president, Razul De La Cerna, governor of the DNSC Society of Teacher Education, Hanna Grace Pajarillaga, governor of DNSC Institute of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Good Governance Student Organization, Justine Paula Arriesgado, governor of the DNSC Institute of Computing Student Association, Harold Jay Dalaygon, DNSC Society of Integrated Fisheries and Applied Sciences Students, and SSC moderator, Mr. Ian Somosot.
One of the highlights of the convention was a fellowship pageantry that was participated by the student leaders. ICSA governor Justine Paula Arriesgado was hailed as Ms. Philippine Association of Campus Student Leaders (PACSL) Boracay 2023. She represented both DNSC and the Mindanao Core Group. She was also awarded Darling of the Crowd and Best in Long Gown.
The theme for the convention is Leadership with a Cause: Leading with PACSA Influence. The organization aims to drive integral and holistic formation of campus advisers and student leaders.
